dacō — Restaurant in Fukuoka

We didn’t get a donut, but we got a matcha latte an hojicha latte and this cute pastry with tomato and cheese on top. The pastry was warmed and it was very fluffy and light. The cheese was delectable, and the tomato had a sour sweetness that helped balance the whole pastry. The hojicha was pretty top notch. Both it and the Matcha was unsweetened and they provided you with either sugar or sugar free syrup in order to adjust to your liking. The hojicha had a well balanced roast, and was not bland. The matcha they used was from Yame. It had moderate umami, with little sweetness, but pretty creamy, I think it works great as a latte. While i was waiting for the drinks, I was able to chat up the two young barista ladies and were patient with me when i practiced my Japanese, and it made the interaction very light and they even gave recommendations for restaurants they enjoyed in the Tenjin area. The back part of the cafe was cute and very intimate; dimmed lighting, with cute tables for 2. The service was impeccable, very prompt, took no longer than 5 mins. I know most people giving this cafe a 3 or 4 because they were disappointed with some of the drinks or the donuts, but it would be unfair for me to do that when I had a wonderful experience and ate/drank very good quality things; and the...

平日の11:30前に伺いました🍞 待ち時間は、前に3〜4組いたくらいで、10分ほどで店内に案内されました！

2組ずつ店内に入る形式で、イートインの場合はドリンクも一緒に注文します☕️ 店員さんが注文したパンを取ってくれます。 1組前のお会計待ちのあいだに、パンをみて何を頼むのか決めなくてはいけないので優柔不断さん注意です😆

イートインスペースは、お洒落で、鏡張りのとこもあったり、素敵でした！証明は暗めです。

dacoのパンやドーナツは、総じて小ぶりのサイズなので、色んな味のパンを食べたい方や、少しで十分な方にぴったりです☝🏻
