This coffee shop’s policy of only allowing seating strictly for customers with ceramic cups (despite the store is half empty) is not just inconvenient—it's outright customer-unfriendly. Forcing us to either rush through our coffee or be banished from seating if we choose a takeaway cup is absurd.
Many of us need to sip our coffee briefly before taking the rest to go. This policy does nothing but create unnecessary hassles. No matter how good their coffee is, if the service is bad, it's bad. Paying customers deserve flexibility and consideration, not rigid rules that disregard their needs.
A more effective approach would be encouraging reusable cups or offering incentives for bringing our own.
In short, this policy is poorly thought out and prioritizes a misguided environmental stance over basic customer service. Management needs to reconsider and adopts a more customer-friendly approach to reducing waste.

Read morePatronized this store twice during a 4 day stay over in hakata. Unfortunately, my 2nd visit's experience was akin to a prior reviewer's, who gave this shop 1 star. It was quite frankly, off putting, and spoilt my day.
They seem to have no issue with people staying for longer durations but cannot accept others who had ordered a mix of eat in (toast) and take away (coffee). (we initially thought we could take away the toast but was told we could only have it eat in. So we decided to order eat in. By then, we had already ordered our drinks for take away.) right after the toast was finished, we were chased off.
Their coffee is also inconsistent. Likely due to the barista on shift. The coffee on the 1st day was good. But was borderline sour-acidic (without notes) on the 2nd day.

Read moreNice coffee shop with ample seating. Asked for a flat white which was off menu and they were able to make it which was a nice surprise. Only complaint is the staff member taking my order refused to listen to what I said - I asked for my receipt to be sent to my email (an option that comes up on the screen) 3 times and was ignored each time, and I was handed a paper receipt. When I mentioned it for the 4th time he went back through the order history and did it which is fine, but would have been much easier if he just listened straight away! (For note, the email is attached to the card so you just tap a single button and it sends it, much easier and environmentally friendly than any other option).
Would come back for the coffee though! Also a great place to work with fast wifi and plug outlets...
