Got such mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand, it's a real gem; one of the best- if not THE best- gastropub you'll encounter in Fukuoka. Dazzling & wealthy selection of international booze on the menu. Cuisine par excellence. Stands out in terms of design and feels expensive in the best way. Best of all for me though is the atmosphere; venue like a maze, places to sit, places to mingle. casino games, spacious interior, wonderful lounge bar in the back better lit than a Christmas tree- it's pure class and the only thing missing is a group of lounge lizards at the counter. Past 9pm you can use your receipt for free entry into the fantastic dance club upstairs, so yea this place has a LOT going for it.
They do lose a point with the cocktails here however. Overpriced and disappointing....The disparity between the excellent quality of the food and the substandard level of the cocktails is baffling. What they call a pina colada was skimmed milk, rum and pineapple juice served in a warm 9oz beverage glass. Forget a pineapple slice or maraschino cherry. Worse still was the 'Godiva Mocha Latte' - I watched in horror as the bartender put literally a teaspoon of liquor in there and filed the rest up with black coffee. What a scam. I was waiting for someone to tap me on the shoulder and tell me it was April Fools, which sadly never happened.
So yeah, stay away from the cocktails...

A lil pricy but overall would go there again. Suitable for a date or...
Read moreTerrible food! I ordered "fish 'n' chips", but there were no proper chips—just a couple of tortilla chips to accompany the tiny tasteless lumps of battered fish and the greasy, gooey sauce. When I complained, the waiter couldn't see a problem and I wasn't offered any...
