RONDO cafe — Restaurant in Fukuoka

This tiny coffee shop is run by an old man. The coffee shop plays vinyls of jazz. I had green curry last time. It was cooked by the old man. The curry was so delicious that I attempted to pay a visit again. But the opening hours of this coffee shop is irregular. I think it depends on the mood of the old man. Finally I have the second chance. The old man serves chicken curry today. There are many mushrooms in the curry. It is still delicious. The spiciness is above normal Japanese standard. But the old man cleverly serves a small bowl of plain yogurt alongside. The cold yogurt cancels out the spiciness and gives a beautiful touch to the aftertaste. I have a glass of hand drip iced coffee afterward. I think the old man roasts his own beans. He grinds the beans upon the order. The iced coffee uses dark roast beans. It tastes like Guinness and chills out me immediately. Listening to jazz, sipping my coffee, and watching people walking by outside, I find that time is frozen. If only it is not because the leaves outside are shaking...

コチラは、2016年9月オープン！外観は雑居ビル1階！店内はカウンターとテーブル席があり、落ち着いた雰囲気がある喫茶店！店名のrondoって何だろう？と店主に尋ねてみたけど回答はなし、調べると「楽曲の形式の一つ」らしく、異なる旋律を挟みながら、同じ旋律（ロンド主題）を何度も繰り返す形式のことを言うらしい〜何かしらの思い入れとこだわりがあるんでしょう。

メニューは、平日限定お得なランチセット！日国産合換き肉のキーマカレー/¥1100、国産牛のホホ肉のプレミア欧風カレー/¥1200、お米は七山の棚田の減農米！大盛りは＋200円！デミタスコーヒー付き（13:30まで）と数量限定があり、頂いたのは「国産牛のホホ肉のプレミア欧風カレー」です。

先ずはカレーから〜フルーティーなテイスト！スパイスが効いて、辛味はまぁ辛いが、生クリームが全体を優しくまろやかにしてくれます♡ホホ肉がホロホロに煮込まれ美味しい！ご飯は少し柔めだけど全体のバランスは良かった。

以前からずーっと入りたかったお店♪ 10年以上近所に住んでいるのに、なかなか入るタイミングがなく…。 今日たまたまオープンの時間に前を通って、マスターが看板出しているところに遭遇(笑) カレーの香りとマスターの感じの良さに、引き込まれる様に入らせて貰いました★

今日はタイ風カレーと欧風カレーの日。 辛いのが苦手なので、マスターに相談して、定番の欧風カレーに‼︎スパイスも効いてて、牛ホホ肉がホロホロでとっても美味しかったです。 お話したら、マスターも辛いのあまり得意ではないそう♪ キュウリのピクルスとヨーグルトとデミタスコーヒーがセットで¥1,200とっても大満足でした(^^)

周りのお客様は、タイ風を頼まれていましたよ〜。
