coco-Hakone — Restaurant in Hakone

I tried the Special Set with iced Coffee, and wow, it was show stopping. The curry itself comes in a cast iron skillet, and has some great chunks of veg and potato. The best part is a toss up between the hidden egg at the bottom and the pieces of pork!

The cutlet itself was amazing, and the salad was really fresh. I would recommend coming here if you like curry and want a friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic fried chicken. Try either of their Spicy chicken dishes, don't let the names or appearance scare you off (neither are terribly spicy, and I'm from Wisconsin so I don't have a huge spiciness tolerance).

Better than any fried chicken I've had in recent memory, the light crispy breading and perfectly cooked chicken was a nice break from the traditional cuisine served...

Based on the other reviews here we tried the lava chicken, and it didn’t disappoint. At first we thought the chicken was burnt to ashes; the crust was completely black. Obviously this is all part of the deal, and the chicken is not burnt at all. Very tender and very enjoyable with a cold glass of draft beer. Definitely recommended to go here if you’re looking for...
