e's time cafe & ANDERSEN — Restaurant in Hiroshima

The bread is good and the prices are fair. But the staff is rude. My mom came to visit me in Japan so I took her here, we were paying and the staff spoke English( which was nice) but I responded in Japanese, even so the casher was reaching over the cash register and putting her finger in my Mom's change purse. I put up my hand and told her Daijobu, to let her no to stop touching my mom's wallet. She leaned back and started laughing with her co workerand walked away. It's great that they want to help foreigners but you should never put your hand to someone's wallet unless they ask. Let them pay with the coins they like. And don't be rude when someone asks...

広島駅併設の商業施設エキエ(お土産屋さんが充実してます)内の「ANDERSEN」ですね。 「ANDERSEN」の美味しいパンはもちろん、ドリンクメニュー、パスタやオムライスなどの食事メニューも楽しめる当店舗。 ちょっとした待ち時間やお茶休憩に利用するのも良さそうです。 朝はモーニングメニューもやってるみたいなので、今度広島市パン巡りするときに利用できたら良いなと思ってます(^o^)

パンの購入のみ利用です。 11.27 Sun 試験帰りに寄りました。 入り口入ってすぐのところに シュトレンが置いてました。 冬が近づいてるんだなってことを実感します。 その横には芸北りんごと赤ワインのパン! 見た目から分かる石釜焼きシリーズ。 丸々1個は多いかもしれないけど、ハーフサイズならちょうど良さそう！と思い1つトレーに。

この時期だからか、クリスマスを彷彿とさせるクッキーがずらり。 「ANDERSEN」の公式サイトで見たことあるのですが、マッチ売りの少女やパンダとかをイメージした可愛い缶のクッキーを作られてるんですよね。ちょっとした贈り物によさそうな感じの。 クリスマスイメージのこちらのクッキーも、 お菓子好きな人に渡すと喜ばれると思います(^-^)

並んでいるパンを眺めます。 やっぱり系列だからか 「リトルマーメイド」と ラインナップは同じですね。 ただところどころ、 リトマメでは見たことないなって 商品がありました。 そのうちの1つが、写真に映るエトランゼ。 グルグルうずまきな 見た目が印象的で目に止まりました。 ノーマルとショコラとありました。 ノーマルの方を連れて帰ることに。

あとりんごを使った商品が多いと思いましたね。これは、冬の時期だからってのがあるとは思いますが(^o^;) りんご系商品から芸北りんごのキャラメルスコーンをトレーに。

not many vegetarian options. the food is good for its price, the coffee could be better. the service is very friendly tho :)

BUT they sell this lovely frog cookie which is totally worth it.
