Vege Cafe Lo — Restaurant in Kagoshima

Cute little restaurant with lots of timber, decorations rather Bohemian for conservative Kagoshima. The name would suggest a vegetarian restaurant, but this is not the case. The generous beef stew I had as part of my lunch was superb - the meat soft and juicy and the sauce piquant. Very chill cafe for a delicious breakfast. The salads where fresh, crunchy and tasty, with a very nice ration between greens and toppings. Sunny side up egg was on point and bacon juicy. I had a chai to go with it all, a bit softer than I'm used to but very nice and hot. The fruit smoothie was creamy and cool.

Healthy, delicious food with lots of vegetables. I had the lunch special, which was a large salad, a variety of yummy hot foods (pasta, mushroom sautee, chicken, etc), soup, and bread. It cost just 1320 yen! I will definitely be coming back here...
