Wagyu beef specialty store steak＆ｍeat sushi Kirishima bokujyou tenmonkan store — Restaurant in Kagoshima

We had lunch today at this restaurant, where I expected to see something above average in terms of atmosphere and food quality, instead we dined in booths that were something between a fitting room and a banana room. Dishes were brought out while I was still eating the previous meal, thus it took 20 minutes to get everything, including a dessert of ice cream that melted while I ate the meat. The prices are very high for Kagoshima, in the same neighborhood you can eat incredible fish and meat with 4 alcoholic drinks for the same price. I started to feel dizzy in the booth, so little air was there and the taste of the food made it worse. Meat ok, but overall the experience...

Our server and chef was amazing! We were a group of seven people not speaking much Japanese. He was most patient in answering our questions! The place settings at our table was beautiful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented! It was a delightful experience and complements to the gentleman that served us! We were so grateful to him for directing us back to our car park after such a wonderful experience in your restaurant! He went above and beyond his duty on Monday evening! We spent 3 nights in Kagoshima, had two dinners here. Everything on the menu rocked, everything. It was that good. If I have to nitpick, I would skip the wagyu sushi and the chicken dish the next time, just to save more room for sirloin, fillet and god almighty Chateaubriand.

The cooking style was less fancy than most its counterpart. The outer layer was caramelized perfectly without the odorous and visual strikes. One of our order was overcooked a bit, yet the marination and the flavor still felt like an heavenly delight.
