Oriental Brewing Kanazawa — Restaurant in Kanazawa

This is the second location we went to in Kanazawa, and while the menu was the same the level of the food was not. The menu didn't seem to like up with the other location (in historic district). The beer was different between the locations as well (as in numbered and what was available) so while I still think that this restaurant is a win the other location is a better choice.

Nestled in the Oriental brewing Company up on the second floor, this unassuming pizza shop had probably some of the best pizza I have ever had. The Siciliana flavors were perfectly balanced, tomato sauce not too acidic, and the anchovies and olives provided a nice saltiness that kept me going for more. The beer that they provide here is locally sourced, and complements the flavors of every pizza quite well. I could’ve easily had two or three more of these, and I wish I could’ve tried more. My two friends and I talked to a staff member if he has a table three people, he told us that we should wait a minute and we saw him clean up a table that has enough space for four people. While he was cleaning three japanese women approached him and I can only guess that they asked as well if he has a table. After he finished cleaning he came to us and said that there is currently no table available. While we were leaving the three ladies sat down at the exact table.
