魚べい 川越クレアモール店 — Restaurant in Kawagoe

This is a fun and relaxing place for my husband and I during our time in Japan. We don’t speak much Japanese yet and only eat vegetarian or vegan food. Ordering using the tablet is easy and you pretty much know exactly what you are going to get. I mostly have inari and cucumber rolls, but they also have bonus items like this plant based zero meat hamburger sushi. Fries and tempura pumpkin are other options as are edamame, and pickled radish rolls. There’s fruit and it seems like slightly different options at different locations. A little track brings your food right to you! I wish there were more veggies or salads without fish and avocado rolls...

Typical conveyor belt sushi. What makes this sushi chain different from others is the variety of vegetarian and vegan options. They also have limited season items. Very affordable and easy to use for non Japanese speakers. Everything is done through machines which has English language options. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something inexpensive, yet still delicious and casual.

クレアモールはよく通りますので、こちらの店舗は度々利用させて頂いております。 どんな時間帯も外から店内を伺うと「待ち(テーブル待ち)」のお客さん(若いお客さん)で込み合ってる印象で入店を躊躇してしまいそうですが、自分みたいな「御一人様」なら勇気を持って中の座席案内の端末迄行ってみましょう。大概、カウンター席なら直ぐにご案内です。

味に関しては、こちらでは自分は晩酌がてらお寿司を楽しむので、味はこの値段帯では頑張っている方だと思っています。 なので、自分の食べたいネタとお酒で毎回満足しています。予算もお酒2～3杯にお寿司(一貫皿も含む)7～8皿位で¥2,000ちょい。

サービスは、込み合ってる時間帯は店員さんも余裕が無くなるのかなぁ…。 人手で運ぶドリンク類に関しては、何も遜色無く普通に提供してくれます。 お寿司は自動シャリと思わしきシャリの上にネタが乗ってるだけなので、高速レーンでネタが落ちてしまったり、裏返って乗ってるモノがあったりとちょっと残念です。まあ、この辺は改善される事を願います。

お店の雰囲気は、他の方も指摘されてますが、学生の方々の元気の良さが目立ちますねw

しかしながら私見ですが(コロナ云々抜きにして)、この時代でただ「箱」が変わっただけだと思います。

因みに、自分の学生時代は「マ◯ク」だとか「ミ◯ド」で１番安いメニューで、何時間もたむろしてました…(^^;

まあ余談はさておき、これからもこの路線を物価高の世の中ではありますが、頑張って頂きたいお店の１つではあります。...
