Absolutely no consideration for the environment. I asked the staff if she could wrap the pastries in a paper bag and she replied that they didn't have any. As she started packing each of the six items individually in plastic bags, I asked if she could put them all in a single bag to avoid plastic waste, but she refused! Another issue is that to be allowed to eat in each of us would have to order a drink even if we were not thirsty and all the seats were empty. I would understand if it were a café, but it's a bakery! Tasty and high quality bakery items and sandwiches. Expensive.

Service was dreadful. The lady seemed completely irritated by having to serve us and when she asked us "dine in or take out?" It must be a trick question because we answered "dine in" and she said we can't because we didn't order a drink EACH (we bought 4 food items for two adults and two kids).

So if you like baked, posh goods and you don't mind having the staff look down at you...

The lady serving us was ULTRA irritated and snobbish. This was surprising because everyone in Kumamoto has been warm and friendly until this moment. What a disappointment!
