The restaurant is underground opened 08:00am-14:00pm and the food is delicious and popular for local people for breakfast and lunch. Although the boss and his wife only speak Japanese they are super friendly and kind, you can use google translation to communicate with them or you show the picture of what you want to eat.

The best Japanese family restaurant I highly recommended.

The daily set is changed everyday. I had the daily set called “Saba fish set”with extra order of natto and tamagoyaki

The owner and the lady boss is super friendly. Knowing I'm foreigner, they still make effort to communicate.

Ordered 1 grill fish set meal, 1 grill pork set meal, and a fried soba for takeaway. All food are freshly cook and all are delicious!

Came here two days in a row. Hidden gem in Kyoto…..super delicious meal with fantastic customer service!! The lady is very gentle and nice even you can feel the chef’s passion through the kitchen. Nice warm meal with reasonable price. Will be visiting...
