Great sushi, some of the best in the area with the benefit of being located near Kyoto's largest fish markets (for business, not public) and having a great selection of fresh fish.
The portions are generous with large pieces of fish in the nigiri but expertly cut so as not to overwhelm the balance if the sushi.
Free tea and water with your meals. There may be a short queue before entering but it is worth it, especially at such reasonable prices for medium fatty tuna. Though it may be a longer wait, I recommend a table rather than the counter unless you are eating alone.
Service is fast and pleasant, the waiters spoke barely any English (not that they should be expected to - this is based on one visit so other waiters may speak English fluently).

Only little downside is that you should like a little wasabi because they put in under the e.g. fish so it always tastes a little like wasabi.
