居酒屋 炭吟醸 — Restaurant in Kyoto

A chill and friendly izakaya, with a bit hit and miss dishes. The wagyu (tataki & grilled) were excellent, but the seseri with tare was maybe the most disgusting thing we ate in Japan (see the gross petroleum looking - and tasting - bits of chicken). Overpriced for what it is (950¥ for a glass of nihonshu), but if everything else is closed stick to the beef and avoid the ‘charcoal’...

Best experience of local izakaya here! Very reasonable prices and a few pictures that helps ordering. Service is very friendly, but literally everything we ordered was delicious, from cucumber salads, to waygu beef, squids and finally fried donut and matcha spring rolls as desserts were amazing. Super happy to have stumbled...

来ましたよ、おお〜見るからにドロリッチ♡ レンゲですくうとどろりとした濃厚そうなスープですねﾃﾞｽﾈ˙꒳​˙) ごはんも、たっぷりと盛られてますよ！ スープ飲んでみると( ◉ω◉ ) めっちゃ濃厚ですね、極○さんに似てる！！ 麺にもめっちゃ絡まってます、程よい硬さでズルズル美味しく頂きました。 大きな豚バラチャーシュー、 とても柔らかくて脂が美味しいヤツ〜 ごはんと交互に美味しく頂きました。 唯一残念ポイントと思ったのが、卓上に調味料が何も無いことかな！？ 胡椒なり、辛味噌なりあったら最後まで味に飽きること無く美味しく完食出来たと思う。 ( -ω-
