We came here for breakfast. The place has a sweet, calm, vintage vibe, with soft classical music in the background. The owner is a lovely old lady who served us with great hospitality. She brought us warm towels to clean our hands before eating (mind you, it is only for your hands and not for your mouth, neck, face, etc). The breakfast was delicious, everything was freshly made and we only had to wait for like 10 minutes. (I forgot to take pictures because how hungry we were, but the food looked mouthwatering). The prices are a bit higher compared to a Doutor for example, but it’s definitely worth it. I saw that folks mentioned here that how bad that smoking is allowed, but if you’ve spent some time to prepare for local customs and habits you should already know about this, so it’s not a big surprise. The house blend is a standard americano kinda coffee with an acceptable taste, but nothing special. The two soft-boiled eggs, the toast with butter and the cheese omelette were tasty, but the pancakes with butter and maple syrup were top tier. For all of these, we payed 3000 yen, which is still good compared to a basic breakfast at Mcdonald’s in our home country. All in all, this place is a hidden gem and definitely worth your time...
Read moreThis is definitely the secret spot in the area. The food is a real treat, everything is freshly made in front of you. English menu is available. Try the pancakes and the hot donuts along with coffee. The owner is so welcoming and kind. The interior is lovely, the music is fitting. Me and my friend visited multiple times although we agreed to not visit Cafés and Restaurants more than once on our trip through Japan. The chairs are a bit small for Europeans and people may smoke inside but I honestly didn't care about that. Will definitely visit again if I'm ever in...
Read moreThis is a lovely little cafe. My husband and I needed some breakfast and decided to give it a try, and we loved it! It is a small cafe run by a lovely older owner. She was very kind and brought our dishes out one by one, as they were made. It was very nice to experience something a little more homey! She was so sweet and this is a great spot to check out. We tried the French toast (we recommend), the omelette, piping donuts, and they were all yummy. We did ask for syrup with the french toast, and it made it even...
