A really exceptionally excellent homely bakery, with kind owners and delicious treats. They have a wide range of salty as well as sweet baked goods. During our 5-day stay in Kyoto, a daily morning shop and stop by was just simply a must! Greeted with a warmth and the smell of freshly baked bread was just dreamy. Everything that we tried was tasty and not too sweet. We have gathered some of our favourites however I highly encourage you to try it out yourself!

This backery is definitely on our list when we visit...

Delicious! Buns were still warm and super soft when we arrived around 8 on a Monday. Definitely get the custard/cream bun (topped with powdered sugar, I think?) and the purple sweet potato bun. Bring your magic translation app if you're not able to read the signs in Japanese since it's not always obvious what's in the...
