MOS BURGER Kintetsu Toji Station Shop — Restaurant in Kyoto

The staff was incredibly nice. The place is clean and comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere. The large size soda is actually somewhat large. About an American medium size. Not overflowing with ice either. The French fries, though few, were also delicious.

In the onion potato set, they only give two onion rings. The onion rings taste bad and are not worth it. The burger itself is smaller than an American burger and about the same quality, if not a bit less. My husband had the tobikiri cheese burger and the cheese was like falling off of it (see photo). I had the yasai burger. It was not bad but not amazing. Somewhat disappointing. McDonald's and burger king are definitely better, I'm surprised people would think the opposite but to each their own. The food was really good. The problem was the order: we are not japanese and the waitress did not know one word of English. But we were able to communicate with only a small error (missed one drink), when we got down to order it another waitress in flawless English said that they were closing in about half an hour. We found really impolite that she didn't help the other one taking our order, seeing that we were unable to communicate. We don't have MOS Burger in our home country so eating here was on our to do list. We ordered a special burger at the time, a hot dog and two ice cream drinks. Burger and hotdog had a good ratio of insides and bread and were filling. Tastes wise was not bad either. Mostly impressed with the ice cream drinks and the atmosphere!
