COYOTE Roastery — Restaurant in Kyoto

This charming shop tucked down a local street offers Salvadoran beans roasted onsite. My husband & I purposefully saved this location and found our way to it on a rainy Sunday evening. Everything was perfect!

Staff and owner were really welcoming and friendly from start to end, from offering warm water while waiting outside for our coffee, inviting us in when there was availability, to the owner explaining their bean process.

We stumbled across this well curated coffee place near the Kamogawa river. We ordered an iced matcha latte and iced latte. The matcha was delicate, earthy and balanced. The coffee was also very good. Behind the shop they have a roastery where they roast their beans from El Salvador. We had a pleasant chat with the barista, we will definitely stop there again...
