This is an update to my review, which had been a 1 star that I have changed to a 5 star. I wrote the review below and sent an email to the restaurant , within a day and a half I was contacted by the restaurant since I happened to be staying in the Good Nature Hotel and was asked to come and speak with the manager, Mr. Go Ohba. He could not have been more understand and pleasant. He listened to us and apologized and he had researched our situation and resolved it quickly and professionally. It was a pleasure meeting him, and we look forward to dinning there again.
Horrible service foreigners beware. We had a party of 6 and got charged for 9 meals!!! We ordered 6 dishes and after some of our parties meal arrive., we are told what we ordered is no longer available and we need to pick something else. So we do. Then the original order comes out so we think I guess they did have it. To our surprise more food comes out which we refuse and then after translation we are told oh the waiter didn’t say you couldn’t have it. It was that you weren’t getting the full meal. Then we are told we have to pay for all the food the food we never wanted and some might say that that’s the cost of being a foreigner BUT why am I charged FULL price for a meal that was not presented as advertised and we are now told it was only half on the original meal. how do you charged full price for half of what you are told you get. Read moreIt was a somewhat strange but good experience! I was in the mood to eat only vegetarian dishes and ordered a pasta (does it count as a “main”?) and a salad. But a waiter seemingly solicited me to order more (that’s the strange part for me). Also although there were 4-5 waiters, at times it was hard to get the attention of any of them. 😅 Also seemingly just one spoke good English so others were not able to explain what the dishes are (so I ordered an ice cream dessert which I would not do willingly). Anyway, the greens salad was so-so, a hot appetizer (sautéd ’shrooms with some thinly grated cheese) was quite good and I liked it. Now, the ’shrooms pasta was perhaps the best I’ve had in my life! So a great discovery, an enjoyable experience and maybe a fond memory. The service feels a bit too over-the-top and formal. I am not sure if I felt welcome at all. I wish the treatment was a bit more warm-hearted in that respect. Anyway, I am quite curious to try a pizza and the tiramisu...

Soft prosciutto and smoked bonito are a wonderful combination
They also use non-pesticide vegetables and ingredients produced through sustainable fishing, agriculture, and livestock farming
They recommend simple cooking methods that bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients, so the food is low in salt overall and healthy

It's a calm, elegant space, so it's recommended for anniversaries and dates♪
