We had no idea what to expect walking in here, we just knew that this place had great reviews. And I'm so glad that we found this place by chance.
I ordered the tempura and cold soba. It was absolutely delicious, the soba noodles had a nice chewy consistency. And the sauce to dip our noodles in with the tempura flakes added a nice crunch. I loved all the textures within the dish. The veggie tempura was so tasty. For me the portion size was perfect. Everything tasted fresh too. There are also other options on the menu for a bigger set with sashimi as well.
The menu has many options to choose from. There's also an English menu that was very thorough and extensive. It was very cute actually. I was very impressed with the service we received. They were very sweet, helpful, and patient with the little Japanese we knew.

Read moreI got there for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food I got there! The staff was so lovely and even tought they did not speak any English, the offered a translated Menu and explained to us about our dishes via Google Translator. They really put an effort to give the customers a great experience.
Delicious food from Kyoto! I absolutely recommend if you are looking for a local's experience.
