Our bartender was so friendly and attentive. This far is part of the family part convenience store. We happen to be staying in the neighborhood for about a week. I was shopping here when I happen to notice the bar. When you look at it from the outside, it looks like you stepped into a 1960s, lounge Experience with a Frank Sinatra style bartender behind the bar. It’s classic and brown and actually have some decent lighting. I stopped in because I’m going to be leaving soon and I just had to have this experience. Think everyone who’s in the neighborhood should do it at least once. Quite relaxing. And there was a little kid that was shopping with her parents that really wanted to come in the bar and actually did. It was pretty hilarious. But yeah, I’m having a great time and my Moscow...

Liquor Museum was the most unreal find to stumble upon when deciding to pop into a Family Mart for a roadie before wandering the streets of Kyoto. Do you want to come across a classy bar with a wide variety of local and international liquors when you only meant to grab a 9% Suntory from the convenience store fridge to take back to your hotel/ neck before you wander your pasty white Aussie legs through the beautiful back streets of Kyoto? This is the bar for you. Anju in particular will welcome you with a smile and treat you like you’re at the Park Hyatt. We walked past and seen the sign for a liqueur museum and weren't sure if we were seeing correctly, a bar inside a convenience store... but we walked in took a seat after a warm welcome from the lovely bartender who had amazing English, something we didn't expect or require but it was nice to converse with her about her job and the uniqueness of the bar. It's definitely an experience. You can pick something from the shop to be smoked or flambé in front of you, and you can buy drinks from the shop to have there....
