I was lucky enough to find this place when I was looking for a good unagi place. I went in and the owners, exceptionally nice people, sat me down and fed me some of the best eel I have ever had. It wasn't too sweet, grilled perfectly, and was tender and not oily at all. Even better, the price was reasonable; around 4500 yen for a liter of beer, a lot of eel, and an eel omelet. I would come back in a second, and wish I had discovered it earlier. It's conveniently located by Toji Temple and I'd advise anyone looking for an amazing eel restaurant to check it out.

One was grilled eel and the other was broiled. The grilled one was tastier due to the depth of flavour the grilling provides and also additional condiments served.
