Korean BBQ & Yakiniku VEGETEJIYA Fukakusa — Restaurant in Kyoto

We decided to have something grilled for dinner and found this Korean BBQ shop.

It's a set time limit, and within it was all you can eat and drink. Tables are equipped with a sparkling shochu tap where you can pour your own drink. Provided were two syrups of our choice to mix to our liking.

The meat was tasty, only the chicken was a little thick to our liking. Orders for more meat are made by smartphone and QR-Code (or Line(?)). Everything has pictures, so Japanese is a bonus to speak, but not suuuper essential.

The staff was very quick, friendly and cheerful. We enjoyed the stay. Just make sure to be prepared to smell like grilled meat afterwards. Despite the fume hood above our table, we could clearly notice it.

LOOOOOOVED it! Came here to dine in with my family & our experience, especially the food was TOP TIER! Although there’s a time limit, it made things fun & enjoyable. Even had our own competition to see whose table would finish their food first. All in all, we give credit to Sion! Wonderful waitress who took of us that night. Want a good place for “all you can eat” meats? COME OVER...

The staff was really amazingly polite and sweet. They heard it was our anniversary and did their best to make the experience welcome. If you're looking for a lot of food and a lot of alcohol for a reasonable price, this is the place. I really enjoyed the self service element which isn't common in America and resulted in a lot more food than I usually get at...
