Lively, great atmosphere, fun food and super friendly staff.

Situated near a university, it seemed to be frequented by a younger and more laid back crowd. Ordering is by QR and there is an English menu so simple enough. We went on a Monday when it was quiet, though it started picking up around 9, and enjoyed a comfortable and long session of grazing and drinking. We went again on a Wednesday later in tge evening to find a completely different atmosphere, buzzing with ruddy faces.

We had the kara age, some classic yakitori as well as their miso glazed skewers. everything was delicious.

This izakaya has a charming vibe but the food is pretty meh. The sesame cucumbers were SO salty, and most of the yakitori skewers I ordered were actually quite overcooked and tough. I tried the shiitake mushroom skewers but they were marinated in something sour, which seemed strange. On the flip side, the fried chicken was juicy and the sake I tried was fantastic. This place is a great gem! A must visit place, if you are hungry after your long climb of Mt.Inari. The food is incredibly delicious!

It’s not crowded although it’s not far away from this touristic place. We were the only tourists. The ambiance is great with low volume music.
