Kroon — Restaurant in Kyoto

The most tasteless food I ever had in any thai restaurant. I visited Thailand and had only thai food for 10 days straight. So, I can confidently say, this restaurant is not at all at par with basic thai kitchens in Thailand. All paintings and distractions only and too expensive for the cheap food quality, the green curry was made from readymade paste availabe in all supermarkets....the pad thai portion is that of a kid’s meal set... they do not have som tum or tom yum goong, which is like the very basic thai delicacies!!!.. Awful food!! Overpriced!! Clumsy!, dark...

Food was quite disappointing - taste did not quite hit the point. Ordered the green curry, but was sweet! Probably for Japanese taste. Also had Thai noodles but it wasn’t the pad Thai flat noodles and wasn’t spicy at all. A little misleading for those who had not tried the original Thai food. Also waited quite long for the food to come. Overall, food didn’t meet the over-priced food. However, staff were nice...

Tea + Pad Thai together costed 1600 yen.

Not delicious, the pad Thai doesn’t have much taste, not sweet nor spicy. The shrimp on top was pretty good.

You can not request the dish to be more “spicy”, they can only give you some spicy powder in a small jar..... it tastes more like American pepper powder.

Service was good. Atmosphere was great~
