Had my eyes set on this place while my friends settled for the McDonald’s across the street for some reason. Had the rich soy sauce bowl with pork back and oh my god it was to die for. Seriously delicious soup and great amounts of fresh onion, meat, and bamboo. The staff were welcoming and seemed to be having a pretty good time amongst themselves which is nice to see. Final day in Kyoto, craving ramen for breakfast. Luckily, this restaurant opens at 8am. Broth is filled with pork fat which makes it extremely flavourful. Very generous portion.
