Had my eyes set on this place while my friends settled for the McDonald’s across the street for some reason. Had the rich soy sauce bowl with pork back and oh my god it was to die for. Seriously delicious soup and great amounts of fresh onion, meat, and bamboo. The staff were welcoming and seemed to be having a pretty good time amongst themselves which is nice to see. Atmosphere at the bar was chill and homey-the staff adjusted a fan towards me to keep the heat down which was extremely kind of them. Can’t recommend enough,...

Final day in Kyoto, craving ramen for breakfast. Luckily, this restaurant opens at 8am. Broth is filled with pork fat which makes it extremely flavourful. Very generous portion. Karage was crispy and juicy, nothing more to note. Extremely reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and was able to cater to non-Japanese speaking members...
