Nice restaurant with pleasant atmosphere between Nijo castle and Nijo station. Went there for lunch before going to watch a movie in Nijo station. I enjoyed everything in the formula especially the tomato soup starter and the deep fried fish plate (people preferring red meat can choose meat ball instead (ハンバーグ which seems also really good from I could see on the table next to mine 😄). Ordered the set lunch. Deep fried burger was a bit dry. Deep color of the bread crumbs is likely caused by aged oil. Chicken was not fully cooked. Don’t want to ask them to cook again as this maybe the style of the chef. I don’t think undercooked chicken is appropriate in bird flu season. Another disappointment is coffee capsule. I had a sip and didn’t want to drink again.
