My first Yakiniku experience was so great. I was warmly welcomed by my server Sakamoto-san. He took off my jacket and scarf and hung them. I had a tasty Asahi to start and ordered the Course meal B set. This was two types of Wagyu beef cuts, peppers, and mushroom, and steamed rice. The course meal also includes delicious beef bone soup and fresh pineapple. It was a perfect combo for the barley shochu that i tried later. It was a nice view of the lively street. The fresh wasabi was so good. I tried it on everything. The meat sauce was so delicious as well. The wagyu beef was so moist and tender and perfectly cooked by Sakamoto-san. It was simply and deliciously seasoned as well as the mushroom. We had very friendly and lively conversation. Every one was so nice and welcoming and entertaining. It was very clean and comfortable environment for all family and friends. Thank you so much for a...
Read moreFantastic meal and an amazing atmosphere! Visited with my wife and 3 children of 14, 13 and 11 years of age. We didn’t book in advance but were there 30 min before to check if they could receive us, which they could. We were greeted with a warm and service minded welcome. They were very nice to our children and we got a suggestion for two menus that were more than enough for the five of us. We got a combination between sirloin, filet, and tranches of meat as well as shrimp, octopus and scallops. They asked if we wanted to grill by ourselves or if we wanted help. Our children wanted to try so we did it ourselves. One very good thing was that it was a coal bed for the grill, much better and tastier that gas grill which we have eaten before. Everything was delicious and we were very full and happy after the feast! They served some tasty pineapple after. We could not...

The meat, in particular, is incredibly tender, melting in your mouth with each bite. The beef tongue with lemon was a unique and delightful surprise for us—it was our first time trying it, and we were thrilled with how flavorful and perfectly balanced it was. The quality and preparation of every dish reflect the chef’s skill and attention to detail. This is a must-visit spot, and I’ll be sure to return every time I’m in Kyoto! The restaurant is on the 2nd floor above the Ramen shop....
