This wine bar is one minute from where I’m staying. It has good reviews so I checked it out. It was great. The host, Nobuko, is very friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. It was just she and I in the bar for an hour or two and I really enjoyed that. Locals came in after that and that was also enjoyable. I drank a lot of wines by the glass and they were all good. My favourite was the first French Chardonnay I had and also a Chateauneuf Du Pape. Thank you, Nobuko. I’ll be back. Friday, September 12, 2025. I am back in Kyoto and I’ve been back to this wine bar both nights that I’ve been here. It’s a lovely bar, the food and wine and music are all very good and Nobuko is a great host. I live in Tokyo and I’m traveling to Kyoto by myself so it’s great to drop in and chat with Nobuko and other guests. I highly...
Read moreWe ended a hot day at Noeli’s Wine Bar, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, Noeli herself greeted us with such warmth and kindness. She is incredibly welcoming- open, friendly, and polite, which immediately set the tone for a truly intimate experience. Her communicative nature made us feel more like guests in her home than visitors at a bar. If you’re looking for not only great wine but also genuine hospitality and connection, Noeli’s is an absolute gem. Thank you for an amazing evening, and congratulations for the two years anniversary for an...

We had the wine tasting list and also had some delicious snacks as well. The regulars arrived and the whole evening felt very pleasant and enjoyable. The japanese wines were fantastic. We only wish we could go back for...
