Wish I took photos of my delicious breads!!! I probably bought over 10+ and went twice in one morning because it was phenomenal. Friendly staff, Japanese, English, and French speaking 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻earl gray croissant was to die for, so was the plain, salt, and chocolate croissants. Tuna and egg bread was also 10/10. Kouign-amann was incredible. Everything was 10/10 tbh you can’t go wrong. Authentic and strong espresso and lattes too. Edit: Came again this morning and had a cinnamon roll. Though it looked delicious, and knew it would be good because everything I’ve had from here was good, it tasted far beyond my expectations. A perfect crisp yet moist in every bite too.

Went there by chance and I have to say, this is the best coffee I’ve had since I left Australia! And the breads were really yummy too. The one in the photo is sourdough with raisins (I took a bite out of it before I remembered to take a photo) but we also had the pickles and cheese bread which I highly recommend.

Most amazing bakery in Nara!!!! Delicious bread and pastries and THE COFFEE it’s REAL. Seriously the best coffee I’ve had since coming to Japan (I’m Australian so standards are high). I had it iced since it’s literally 30 degrees at 8am.

The bread was proper tough bread with a lovely crust. I had the cranberry and cream cheese champagne bread yesterday and this morning (yes I had to come back!!) I had the fig and yuzu champagne bread. I also couldn’t resist a chocolate croissant and it did not disappoint! Pastry was flaky and crisp and the chocolate was rich and still warm from the oven.

The owner was also super lovely! He asked me in Japanese if I was an exchange student (which I took as a compliment :)) and we had a small conversation in Japanese (I’m not very good yet!). I will...
