This is one of the best spots for coffee in Osaka, conveniently located near the Sakaisuji Line (Nagahoribashi stop). It opens early in the morning and serves excellent siphon coffee alongside shokupan. The morning set includes coffee and a slice of toasted shokupan—either plain or with raisins. Around lunchtime, there’s a wider selection of shokupan with both savory and sweet toppings. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality.

The café is run by an elderly gentleman, who keeps things simple and quiet. He’s not particularly talkative, but the atmosphere is authentic: mostly locals stopping by for breakfast or a peaceful break. The setting feels like stepping into an old Japanese house—calm, nostalgic, and unpretentious.

The vibe may not be lively, but the breakfast is satisfying, the coffee is outstanding, and the experience is worth it. Definitely recommended if...

One of the best coffees I had during our trip to Osaka, owner is very friendly and doesnt speak english but he'll understand once you point at the menu what you want. Better to use the Japanese Menu rather than english since the english one has limited options, just use google translate images for it.

We had a cafe latte and cheese bread which was filling and perfect in the morning. Lots of locals just enter get their coffee and leave. Would for sure come back here again loved the vibes very cozy!

We spent around 1300 yen? For 2 coffess and 2 cheese bread. Cheese bread could have...

Cigarette smoke sensitive warning aside, this is a truly vintage experience coffee enjoyment as you can find amidst the heavily digitised world outside the cafe door.

I’ll pay a visit...
