Came to this food hall to try the unagi after reading the reviews here. We got the medium size of the regular and the deluxe unagi. Both were enjoyable and very worth its value.

The food hall was very spacious and comfortable, with very few people dining in at about 11.30am. It was clean and quiet.

When the dish first came out, we only got half an eel each even though we ordered the medium size (3/4 eel). I’m giving this place 5 stars because when we told the server about it, she was sincerely apologetic and added another piece of eel. After this, what we got matched the picture of it...

We were looking to try unagi over rice during our visit to Osaka Namba, and we found this gem of a shop serving up excellent grilled unagi over rice. We tried the Deluxe Una-Ju set and it came with a super flavorful soup, wasabi, onions and sweet pickles. It also came with a generous and cute kettle of sauce. Overall the unagi was excellent and the rice soft and fluffy.

Found this eel rice bowl place one of my first nights in Osaka! Firstly I love eel so was excited to try it out. It’s tucked in the back of community food hall and it wasn’t busy at all when I went. There seemed to be one person working (cashier and chef) and he was very kind and warm. The food itself was delicious and I scarfed it down pretty quickly.
