Just finished my trip in Osaka and finally got time to write this review. First off, I really really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Asiato. If I come back to Osaka again, I will definitely coming back :)
Room: The room is a bit small but it is understandable, especially in Japan where spaces are limited. I had to put my luggage on bed in order to open it. The room is very clean and well equipped. Everything you need are there. I love the AC and the automated toilet.
Cleanness: The room is always cleaned. When I finish sightseeing, the towels were changed; the bed were folded nicely. Everything looks so neat and nice and I have to give credits to the cleaning staff.
Staff: They are extremely polite and helpful. They speak good English for me to understand. Whenever I ask for directions, they provide a lot of help. Also whenever I leave and enter the hotel, they will greet me in Japanese. I love it!
Location: The hotel is located right beside Kuromon Market so getting to Dotonbori isn't that hard (roughly 10mins of walk). The hotel is also quite close to the subway station where you can get to most places without problems.
Overall, I am very happy that I chose Hotel Asiato and I want to say a big thank-you to the staff as they made my stay in Osaka...
Read moreI actually came here twice within one month. I originally came with my wife for a 2 night layover and we stayed at a double room. I had to go home early by myself and stayed here again a week later for a 1 night layover in a semi-double room. Both times were fantastic. ||The double room worked perfectly for me and my wife, enough room to accommodate the both of us (albeit may be tight if you have a lot of luggage). The semi-double room was also perfect for when I was by myself. The semi-double room would have definitely been tough if I had been with my wife though - mainly due to the smaller bed (so keep that in mind).||However, I will say that the best thing about this hotel is the service. I have to give a shoutout to the front staff. My wife had lost her sunglasses when we first visited. We didn't even realize we had lost the glasses until I came back the second time and they had the sunglasses waiting for me! I actually had to call my wife to verify she had lost her sunglasses, which to her surprise, she realized it wasn't in her bag anymore. ||All in all, 5/5 stay. Great location, next to all the action. Easy to get to by subway from the airport. Very affordable. Most importantly,...
Read moreDefinitely recommend this hotel especially for solo traveller who is looking at average budget hotel in Osaka. I took the single room and the room size is just nice for me with two luggage. Everything are above my expectation for a small hotel in a big city. The room is clean and neat with most of the in-room facilities. Toilet size is standard for Japanese living, thus don't set high expectation on this, it is really normal size toilet in Japan. The small tub is good enough for a single person where you can soak your tire legs after all the walking. Stone throw away to the famous Kuromon Market where you can buy a lots of yummy Japanese food. The nearest railway is Nipponbashi station which is about 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel provides free breakfast and it is good enough if you are travelling on budget. Otherwise, Family Mart is very nearby where you can have other options. The staff are all very friendly and can speak English. Strongly...
