We visited this all-you-can-eat Wagyu beef restaurant in Umeda, Osaka after reserving through Tabelog. The restaurant looked promising, with set menus offering either domestic beef or a higher-tier option including Wagyu and beef tongue. Naturally, we opted for the Wagyu set — expecting a premium, indulgent experience.
What they don’t tell you upfront are some major restrictions that completely ruin the value and pacing of the meal:
Only 2 thick-cut pieces of meat per person allowed — total. These aren’t per round. This is your lifetime allocation for that entire visit. Each is about 2 inches — tasty, but gone in a bite or two.
Meat bottleneck rule: You can only order 2 meat dishes per round per person — capped at 4 meat dishes per round total for a group of 2 or more. Yes, you read that right — even if you’re a group of 4, you still only get 4 total meat items per round, which means one piece per person per round, essentially.
But what makes this worse is that you can't order the next round until the staff brings your previous round. That lag between rounds (which you can’t control) becomes dead time where you're just sitting, waiting, and watching the clock. The meat is good, but it’s devoured in seconds, leaving you in an annoying cycle of hunger and anticipation with a 90-minute limit ticking down.
Everyone is required to order at least one drink, which is fair — but worth noting for budgeting.
While some rules like drink requirements and time limits are expected, the meat order restriction per round is extremely unreasonable, especially for an "all-you-can-eat" concept. Nowhere on Tabelog or the restaurant’s site was this mentioned, and it feels like a deliberately hidden policy. Reviews also don’t seem to mention this crucial bottleneck, which is disturbing and misleading.
Final verdict: The quality of the meat was fine, but the strict and opaque rules around ordering made the experience frustrating and not at all worth the price.
Atmosphere : the restaurant was smokey and dark and loud and packed, floors a bit slippery.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining here, a Japanese BBQ haven that left me thoroughly impressed. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Wagyu, which melted in the mouth, delivering a rich and succulent flavor that surpassed expectations. The ribs, too, were a carnivorous delight, perfectly grilled to achieve that ideal balance of tenderness and smokiness.
What truly set this dining experience apart was the exceptionally friendly service. The staff (帅哥和美女), especially Gaku(小帅哥), went above and beyond to ensure a memorable evening. Even though we don’t understand Japanese, the staff are super friendly to explain to us, added to the overall warmth of the atmosphere.
It's a definite must-visit for anyone seeking a top-tier Japanese...
Read moreThe griddle plate is not Japanese style at all and surly not Korean style. The fire under the griddle is very open so all the meat, especially for delicate meat like wagyu would very quickly go burnt. The buffet price is 5000¥/per person and the service/dishes/ambience etc. doesn’t match the price at all. Not sure where do all the good comments come from and were very disappointed with it as our last meal in Japan. We tried several different restaurants serving wagyu/meat buffet during the trip and this is definitely ranking at the bottom. No changing of the griddle unless you urge them to and there was hair on my tofu salad...
