AVOID AVOID AVOID I LOVE CRAFT BEER BUT...
I rode my bicycle to the shop with my gf at 10pm We were going to drink then walk our bikes back home of course. Got to the store and the owner or manager was just staring at us from inside the store all rude like. While they were saying something to the customers. He was angry but the customers were laughing. He just stared at us. Didn't say a word. He later came outside and told us in a rude way that we can't park our bikes there. I know Japanese he could have just told us. Plus my gf is Japanese as well.
I would not recommend this shop. First impressions are everything. And the first impression was "you are not welcome here"
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Take your money to a 7/11. They have craft beer sometimes and will give you a better service than this place.
P.s. to the owner or manager or whatever that thing was that greeted us at the door like if we were a rat in Nishinari, I hope you get fired or something. You don't deserve to work in any kind of hospitality or management job. You deserve to work in an office with other sad...

For the beer connoisseur, I would definitely recommend it, but for those looking for a more accommodating experience, it's a little cold. They had a pretty extensive food menu and looked very good accompaniment to the beer, but I did not sample since I was there to drink beer. All in all, I enjoyed my night and thought the beers were very tasty...
Read moreGood beer selection and friendly, competent staff. Comfortable and cozy as well. It's a bit spendy, but only as bars in larger Japanese cities tend to be. Steer clear of the small bar snacks and head for larger plates for a better value. For instance the home-made pickles were delicious but felt over-priced, and the imported sheeps' cheese felt positively meagre in terms of portions. Meanwhile the larger fried tofu plate was tasty and seemed more on par with the price. Beer prices are also not cheap, but the selection is...
