Faa Thai — Restaurant in Osaka

All menu items available for lunch! My favorite Thai dish is Nam Tok Neua/Nam Tok Moo (“waterfall” beef or pork salad). Many Thai restaurants in Japan serve this but only for dinner. It is difficult to find a place that will serve it for lunch. But here you can order anything on their dinner menu even during lunch! They can make this dish with either beef (neua) or pork (moo) too. Both are good. If you like it spicy just tell them and they will make it (very) spicy for you. They have a limited lunch menu with daily specials. Their full menu is quite large and has many items that not often featured in other Thai restaurants. Great Atmosphere, Great food, Great Staff!

The interior design had an at home feel, making it a great place to get a bite to eat and have a chat with friends.

It was packed when we went but the food came out quick and was very tasty! I got the lunch set(950 yen)that comes with a choice of noodles and a side dish. I went with spicy noodles and the curry. Both were great and I was pleasantly surprised by the volume and left feeling full and satisfied. They have a daily rotation on the curry and the donburi so I will have to go back and try a different one.

This restaurant is conveniently located in an area with several hotels around it. On our stay in Osaka, we decided to eat nearby our hotel and this Thai restaurant did not disappoint. The Thai food was very good and the service was outstanding. We did not have a reservation but were able to get a table without any issues. This restaurant is definitively a place to keep in your back pocket if you are staying in the area and want to try an ethnic and authentic selection.
