⚠️ Dishonest Pricing – Felt Cheated

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a donburi (丼). The price displayed at the entrance was ¥3,990.

However, when I finished and went to pay, the staff pulled out a different menu with a completely different price — ¥4,359. The waiter then showed me some very fine print next to the price and explained it was a “surcharge.” It was ¥4,559 I was shocked — it felt extremely misleading and dishonest.

It turns out there are four different prices for the same item, across three different menus, and you will end up paying the most expensive one, regardless of whether you were aware of the other menus or not.

There was no clear explanation, no notice, and no “be aware” signage. I walked with a very bad taste of...

The sashimi was not fresh and served on hot rice. Disappointing meal. We didn't finish the rice due to fear of stomach upset.

We also tried the Wagyu stick which the meat was tough. It was 1.5k yen but not worth it at all.

The meal was expensive. The price is higher than displayed price shown outside of the stall. It was a long wait too. When the salmon sashimi rice bowl was served, I was shocked by the texture and had doubts about its freshness. When I left, I glanced at how the food was prepared and confirmed my doubts.

Not recommend. Beef stick was okay. Salmon rice bowl and tempura you could have found better elsewhere with the price. Uni menu was not that we expected comparing to other store we had earlier. Price on menu not include the tax FYI. Menu said order via QR code will offer free edame. After eating, we asked they said sorry NO.
