Komeda's Coffee — Restaurant in Osaka

Good place for quick snack. Friendly staff, table service, separate enclosed smoking area. I ordered iced coffee (unsweetened) and salad with egg and potato which came with pieces of baguette bread which cost about 840 ten total. It was fresh, tasty and filling. There is an English menu but the Japanese menu has pictures of the food anyway. The atmosphere is cosy (casual) and they were playing instrumental jazz/bossa nova. Seats were spacious booth seating. Couldn't get internet reception though (but could be my phone). I didn't try any hot coffee so not sure...

I couldn’t believe the prices at this café were actually cheaper than in Shanghai. When you arrive, they first serve you a glass of iced water and a wet towel, which is a nice touch. I ordered their ‘Morning Set’ from the morning menu, where a coffee comes with toast. The toast was buttered and toasted, and you can choose from three toppings: a boiled egg, egg salad, or red bean paste. I opted for the red bean paste, though I found it a bit too sweet. When we had breakfast there they took the orders of multiple Japanese people who arrived after us. It took 20mins before we were able to order.
