The only good thing about this restaurant is the quality of the meat—it’s undeniably good, as it’s sourced from Japan. The seasoning was also on point, and the ambiance was decent enough to enjoy a meal comfortably.
However, beyond that, the experience was extremely disappointing, especially when it came to the staff’s attitude. One of the female staff members assumed none of us could understand Japanese and started gossiping about us with her colleagues—this alone was unacceptable. But to make matters worse, a male staff member with dyed hair had an incredibly unfriendly attitude. His tone and expressions clearly showed impatience and a complete lack of respect for customers.

Service wise, the staff didn’t really speak English at all and it was difficult to communicate (which is understandable). However, as there restaurant is very busy and staff seems overstretched, there was not much service at all. We were seated quickly but waited over 25 minutes for our raw meats to arrive. Atmosphere: we were seated by the door so there as a lot of movement / noise in and out. The layout of the restaurant (opening and closing of doors, up and down steps) makes it difficult for a...

Upon meeting restaurant staff, we were notified that there will be a one hour wait time for tables inside the restaurant therefore we had sat outside in the heat. Despite that, they allowed a group of 4 to sit down inside immediately after us. I am certain they did not have a reservation as no name was given. First of all the staff had put the grill too high that our meat were burnt, but yet still raw. The meat weren’t particularly good forJapan standards, let alone Western standards. The fans were also put onto too high that the smoke from the grill was blown to my face. For all future patron, there is also a ¥300 charge. This set cost ¥5400 inclusive of the table charge...
