This sandwich restaurant is by far my favorite in Tokyo!! The sandwiches are so good and there's a lot of diversity from fried chicken or fried fish sandwich to vegetarian or vegan sandwich and many more! They even have a gluten free option wrapped with salad instead of bread! It is affordable from around 900-1200 yen for a sandwich at lunch time. Their dinner menu is slightly more elaborated and a bit more costly with a range of wines available. I go there around 4 times week and their sandwiches are always delicious.
The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive to your requests, it's a very nice environment to have lunch and dinner!
I recommend this place to everybody!! It is situated Infront of the shinkuju gyoenmae park, they have an Instagram (andsandwich2017) with the current opening hours in English.
A must try if you are visiting Tokyo! A completely different look and taste of a...

Highlights: extremely carefully cooked bacon (i have never seen someone cook bacon on a flat top griddle in such a precise and organized way) GREAT produce sourcing … i have found that tomatoes in Japan are commonly bad, but this place has ripe and rich-flavored tomatoes in their sandwiches (perfectly salted, too). I think the tomato quality speaks for the rest of the ingredients, too in classic Japan fashion, the staff is super friendly. They got a kick out of how enamored i was by their flat top griddle skills and put on a little show for me

Read moreSandwich here is Instagram/tiktok famous, if some Asian girl from Malaysia or an asian girl with a western accent is doing one of those "here's what I ate in Tokyo" videos...then you know the recommendations will be mediocre at best and you should ignore them.
It doesn't live up to the hype, ingredients are fresh and neatly made, price is not bad for Tokyo but the sandwich is more "photo-worthy" than tasteworthy. It needs more seasoning, it should be compressed more to a form where you don't need to break your jaw to eat it, eating it can get messy but they provide wet wipes and sandwich wrapper.
Service is nice and polite, staff are nice as always in Japan, but I won't be coming back here because the taste isn't that good, sorry, I really wanted to...
