I stumbled upon Afuri during my trip to Tokyo, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing — a much-needed break from the hustle of the city. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients and the balance of their dishes.

I tried a bowl of cold yuzi ramen today, and it was surprisingly refreshing and delicious! The noodles were perfectly chewy and chilled, which made them super enjoyable on a hot day. I especially liked the toppings — soft-boiled egg, and grilled pork slice (which they grilled it right before they serve) — they all added different textures and flavors. Amazing Ramen in Tokyo. The entrance has steep stairs so be careful. Food was so good. Ramen and curry, yuzu beer was very delicious and good sake too. There is an ordering machine with English language option, easy to order and pay at the machine. Service is fairly quick. Bar style. A bit loud and industrial looking interior, but they cook the food right in front of you and it is was very clean.
