We have been in Japan for 8 days. Every place we went was 100% satisfactions, food was delicious, service was great, until we met this place. Our server was a lady, not Japanese. I don’t know if she was having bad day or what. She did not welcome us, not even smile. But I am not complaining about her appearance. I can handle it. When we asked about menu her response was NO English. And she answered most of my questions NO, that was it. One word “NO”. On top of that her attitude was horrible. It was like she was mad just for us being there. So we were going to leave and all of sudden she said “wait a minute “ in English and she called the owner. Owner which was korean guy explained the menu. Their beef portion seems too big for my daughter (12 years old) so my wife and daughter decided to share it. But owner kind of insisted each person order one set. Because of this and mostly our server’s nasty attitude we decided to leave and asked check. We ordered 3 bottle of coke (450 yen), 2 cup of tea (400 yen if I remember right). Server brought them along with 5 banchan (don’t know what it was). Owner brought 4,500 yen check. I asked him what is 4,500 yen for . He pointed to 5 small dish of banchan which we did not order yet. Lol So we paid around $33 for 3 coke, 2 cup of tea and left. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I hope they understand they are making Japan looks bad to tourists. And hopefully better service in the future.
