Wuliangye Dining Tokyo — Restaurant in Tokyo

Overall a very average Chinese food restaurant. Very expensive for what you get. It's probably 3x what you should be paying.

Came for lunch on a weekend.

The duck was full of small bones, not much meat. Some dishes were flavorful but still didn't stand out.

Service was subpar. E.g. we ordered fried rice and a number of other dishes. They bring out a plate of food that should be eaten with rice. But we don't have our fried rice yet and they don't even suggest or offer white rice.

I noticed from the menu that this place is Michelin rated. This reinforces my stance that Michelin is awful, especially in Asia. Never trust it and avoid restaurants...

My host kept telling me that this restaurant is getting Michelin stars next year and our chances of getting a table then is going to be next to none. After all, the only dish that could be counted as‘Michelin” was the deep fried hair tail fish, a gourmet dish in Shanghai and east-sea coastal regions. It was crispy outside and tender beneath the skin. The Wagyu beef in the beef and radish soup was authentic, tender, and tasty but the radish was boiled in water and added to the beef soup minutes before serving. This, the radish pieces had zero...

ランチ利用ですが、料理だけなら★★★★★です。

会社から1番近い中華、五粮液で五目ラーメン（メニューには五目汁麺とか五目湯麺とか書いてありましたが忘れちまいました）。 サラダと箸休めが二品、杏仁豆腐とコーヒーがついて1100円。

前回のよだれ鶏ランチが無茶苦茶美味かったんで期待大。

具材は、プリップリの海老、シッコシコのイカ、豚ロース薄切りの動物たちににウズラ卵の水煮にしめじにヤングコーンにキャベツにニンジンに青梗菜といった野菜類がたっぷり。 多分ちょっと嬉しくなるくらいの具沢山。

麺は高級〜中級中華の汁そばでよく出てくるタイプのストレート中細麺で特にこれと言っていうことありませんでした。

が、とんでもないのがスープ！

中華料理のコースで出てくるような旨味爆弾みたいなスープで、ラーメン屋のスープとは異次元の飲み物。 干し鮑とか乾燥貝柱みたいな貝類の干物から出るエキスとか、牛の骨とかから出るケモノコラーゲンとか、干した菌類とかから出る旨味とかがグッチャグチャになんて押し寄せてくる感じで、いつまででも飲んでいたい感じ。 このスープの中にフカヒレ入ってたら感動で震えるかも。

ココから少し残念な話。

12:09分に注文して着丼が12:34と、なんとランチなのに25分も待つことに。 そもそもオーダーを取ってくれた年配の男性の様子が怪しかったのですが、途中で何度もフロアの女性がチラチラ席を見に来るものの、何かを話してくれるわけでもなく… 12:30ちょっとまえに催促したらようやく今作ってるんでごめんなさいとのこと。 ちょっとこの対応はどうなんですかね。。。 ちなみに炒飯も到着に10分近くかかっていましたので、オーダー時に時間がかかるメニューと早く出せるメニューを教えてくれたほうが親切です。 同僚がビーフンや海老炒飯食べ終わる頃に到着したんで、モーレツに焦っていただかなきゃいけなくなりました．

ということで、後ろが詰まってると着丼まで時間がかかるので頼みにくいけど、時間に余裕のある時絶対また食べます． 同僚は海老炒飯を大絶賛していたのでそちらも気になるし、横の席の人が食べてた春雨みたいなおかずも気になるし、、、

ランチに1100円かけてよいくらい良いことがあった日が、1100円くらい払わなくちゃやってられないくらい嫌なこと...
