Aquarium Dining Shinjuku Lime — Restaurant in Tokyo

It was my first time going there and I made a reservation for two people two weeks in advance. You exit from the L Exit of the East side of Shinjuku Station (where you can see Adidas on the other side of the street). You cross the crossing and the building right there is the restaurant. You enter the building, take the elevator, and go up to the 3rd floor. The restaurant was darker than I had thought. You make a left after getting off the elevator (left is a bathroom) and you tell the staff if you have a reservation.

As far as I could see there were 4 aquariums in the restaurant and the place looked quite big. For the seat we sat down, see the pictures I posted.

You order from the QR code that’s placed on your table. There’re a variety of options and once you order, they start cooking so it might take some time for them to serve what you order. They only speak Japanese but I wonder if any of them speak other languages too.

We ordered Shrimp and avocado spring rolls and Nasi (fried rice from Indonesia). The rice was actually filling because the rice was a little bit soggy because of the sauce.

You pay at your table and all you need to do is just press the button that says 会計 and one of the staff members comes to you. It’s not the typical Japanese style, more of like an American style.

The only downside was I wished they could’ve had more options. Also they told me that we could only stay for two hours.

But I would definitely recommend this place to those who are looking for some interesting experience or unique restaurants in Tokyo.

AND the fish there looked well...

A nice high end izakaya style bar. I went in with my dad without prior reservation and we got a table.

The interior is really cozy with that big aquarium and dim light.

The food is really cheap considering the quality (500-1000 yens per small dish). The big point being that every dish taste really good (hence the "high-end") so you can go with your eyes closed.

There is 800 yen charge per person upon entry (but you get some apetizer) and I think the price on the english app do not...

12／17のディナーの時間に予約しました。お店はシックな感じで落ち着いた雰囲気で、ソファ席の方は水槽があり、魚たちや水も管理されており綺麗でした。客層は若い子からサラリーマンなど幅が広い方々がいました。その分、稀にマナーが悪いお客様もお見受けいたしました。落ち着いたシックなの内装ですが、かなり賑わいのあるお店です。

コース内容と感想

乾杯シャンパン付き

◇前菜◇　前菜4種盛り合わせ ・ズワイ蟹のテリーヌ　イクラ添え ・燻製したポテトサラダのシュー包み ・フレッシュトマトとクラゲのマリネ ・椎茸のフリット　バルサミコソース

見た目も良く、軽食程度に食べる感覚で、味は飛び抜けて美味しいとかではありませんが、美味しく頂けました。

◇サラダ◇　アンチョビが効いた！クラシックシーザーサラダ

個人的にシーザーサラダが好物なので、出てきた時は嬉しかったです。見た目はただ入れただけのような感じで残念でした。味は良くも悪くもないです。

◇魚料理◇　鮪のステーキ　焦がしバターとオイスターのソース

鮪はパサツキもなく、柔らかく中まで火が通っており美味しかったです。ソースはベリー系のソースでしたが、鮪とはさほど合わず、付けずに食べました。

◇肉料理◇　牛ハラミの豪快鉄板ロースト　オニオンガーリックソース

牛ハラミはレアで、柔らかく美味しかったです。ガーリックソースは言い方が良くないですが、市販のソースとさほど変わりません。市販のソースのレベルが高すぎるのでしょうか。。。

◇ご飯◇　ほろほろ牛スジとキノコのチーズリゾット

チーズリゾットはリゾットというよりおじやに近い食感でした。水分が多く米がシャバかったです。牛スジの味付けがあまり合っていないようで、こってりで重かったです。全て食べきれず申し訳なかったです。

◇デザート◇　メッセージ入り♪サプライズ額縁ケーキ

3人で食べるにはちょうど良いサイズ感で、私は生クリームが苦手なのですが、軽い感じの生クリームで食べられました。フルーツも沢山載っていて友人も喜んでました。

○全体の感想 味に関しては、良くも悪くもないが美味しいかなと言うほど。ですが、コスパとお店の雰囲気、味も悪くない、全体的に良いお店だとおもいます。安く美味しいコース食べたいな...
