avocafe — Restaurant in Tokyo

I’m not sure if it was just our luck, but the experience that me and my friend had here was bad. Our table was not cleared even though we were seated for 5 minutes, we had to order at the counter because we couldn’t get the cafe staff’s attention, and the meals were not appetising… Had the daily lunch set (1,000 yen) and it tasted like tomato sauce piled up on rice. Very disappointed yet very surprised to see so many people trying to get a seat at this cafe. Looks like a place where girls hang out… cheesecake at the next table looks good but I didn’t have the mood to try anything else after that meal. Sorry about this seemingly harsh comment but I hope the owners will manage their operations...

この前、店内はそれほど混んでいませんでしたが、料理の提供が非常に遅かったです（お腹が空いているなら絶対に来ない方がいいです）。隣のテーブルは私たちより遅く注文したのに、ピザが先に出されました。私たちのサラダはまだ来ていませんでした。スタッフに催促したところ、待てないならキャンセルしてもいいと言われました。その時点で既に40分以上待っていたので、キャンセルすることにしました。（ちなみに、メニューの勧めで飲み物を注文し、飲み物代は支払いました。）しかし、店は非常にダブルスタンダードでした。別のテーブルにはすぐに請求書を持ってきて、食器を片付けましたが、私たちは長時間待たされました。人が多いなら理解できますが、店内はほとんど満席ではなく、軽食なのにこんなに時間がかかるのですか？

Last night, the restaurant wasn't busy, but the service was extremely slow (if you're hungry, don't come here). A table next to us ordered pizza later than us and got their food first, while we were still waiting for our salad. When we asked the waiter about our order, we received a rude response, saying we could cancel if we couldn't wait. By then, we had already waited for over 40 minutes, so we decided to cancel. (By the way, the staff suggested we order drinks, which we did, and we paid for them.) However, the restaurant was very double-standard. They immediately brought the bill and cleared the plates for another table that had finished eating, but kept us waiting. We could understand if the place was crowded, but it wasn't even full , and it was just a salad. Does it really take that long to prepare...
