I really wanted to like this place but-
Good point- gel nail quality is good so retention is good!
Bad points- the nail technician's behavior. Three techs worked on my nails. The first girl was nice and spoke nicely as well. The third girl worked a little bit towards the end on my other hand. The second girl who worked the longest on my nails- she was honestly extremely rude and I felt very uncomfortable. I am clearly a foreigner and I don't speak a lot of Japanese. I tried to speak as much as I could but every time I didn't understand something or was confused, she would laugh at me. It was not smiling, but mocking laughter. Usually in the states, I would have left or not paid for the service but this was Japan so I thought I was misunderstanding because this country is known for good customer service. However, I was shocked by her rude and arrogant behavior. I didn't react and just wanted to leave as soon as possible. She also injured my cuticles so by the time I left the salon, 3 of my nail cuticles were bleeding.... I am also not sure how the review system works. They say they will give a discount if you write a review and you need to write the review in front of the nail tech who in my case was the arrogant staff. She didn't allow me much time to write, was in a hurry, so I decided not to and I said I don't want the discount. I don't know if she is always so rude or just behaved that way because I am a foreigner (?). One more thing, she left before the final coating of the service to tell me what the price of the nails would be- I am not sure if this is a regular thing in Japan (others salons don't do it). Isn't it better to tell the price once the service is completed? If her intention was to know whether the price is ok for me or not, she could have given me as estimated price before starting the design, not before the final coat when a customer cannot change their decision even if they want to? I could have paid half the amount and received better treatment somewhere else to be honest, I went there because I was shopping in the Omotesando area. The price honestly is not a problem if the behavior of techs is good but in this case I was disappointed .I often visit that area so I thought I found my regular place, but unfortunately it was a miss... Maybe I would visit this place again because it is clean and good quality, but I don't know the name of the nail tech so I don't know how to request another nail...
Read moreHello, everyone. I'm sorry to change my review on the service that I got today in the afternoon. As you can see in the photo bellow I asked for a simple manicure with nail polish. At the desk I was informed that it's possible only with gel. I accepted with gel, but I totally disagree the manner of work. The tools weren't clean at all ( sticks, nail filer etc). The technician worked without gloves with a single brush from the beginning till the end of procedure. In the end I got a huge layer of gel and a colour that it didn't covered all the surface on the nail. Plus the excess that even wasn't removed at the end. The procedure was 6160 yen but a review (-550 yen), the final price was 5610 yen. I understand the good intention, but I don't accept the quality of the work, as I considered that in Japan people respect the work/time....
Read moreVisiting internationally, I was in the area and decided to see if they could take me as a walk-in. They were very accommodating in making me an appt two days later. I got my nails done by Aira, she is so sweet and really took her time doing my nails! I requested a certain design from photos and she was able to match it perfectly, making sure she checked in with me throughout the entire process and making sure I liked what she was doing. They don’t speak fully fluent English here however google translate works just fine. Salon is clean and open. I will definitely be back if I find myself back...
