The food was ok - the hot dog had too much sour relish on it which hid the flavour of mustard and ketchup. The drinks were nice both looks and taste wise. However, the experience was bad. First of all the staff cannot speak English but ordering by pointing on the menu is simple enough. Hold your judgement, there is nothing wrong with not speaking English and this is NOT an issue until later.
Once we sat down and started eating, a lady (pun intended) started CUTTING HER FINGER NAILS. SEE PHOTO ATTACHED.
Because the staff couldn't understand English so there's no point asking them to intervene. Luckily there was a spare table elsewhere so we moved. As I was moving tables I also let the lady know that it is rude to be cutting her fingernails in public and especially in a restaurant when people are eating. She did not care and kept going anyway. This is great - imagining enjoying your hot dog and naan bread in...
Read moreThe location is fine. However, many tables occupied with people who have not purchased anything or are just passing time. This proves difficult for other customers.
Food. Poor. I had the curry, with naan. Like others, the portion is tiny, and where on earth is the meat??? I ended up shredding my naan to put inside the little pot.
Chicken curry, naan, drink, and cupcake ¥2,950 (£15.33).
Don’t bother coming here if you’re hungry. If you want ice cream, then fine, but otherwise what a waste of time. I’m now left feeling hungry, appreciate I’m a medium sized chap, but now I must find more food. Hopefully, of better quality. I wish I came on here to read the reviews before purchasing.
To the shop. Don’t reply saying you’d have done better. Do better in the first place. Customers (many on here) are complaining. Do better or let another food...
Read moreCafé Cardinal is located on the top part of Haneda Airport where there are many nice eateries. This one has a lovely open aspect overlooking most of the airport. The menu is good with plenty to choose from and in particular, they do seem to like their sweet desserts and ‘milk floats’ which a friend tried and said was quite nice. I had a choco banana float and yep, it wasn’t too bad. Looking forward to returning to Australia though where I can get just a good old traditional smoothie without all the richness and sweetness. Other food on offer are hot dogs and cheese dogs. Also curries – both chicken curry with rice with or without naan. A Caesar salad is available as well which looked fairly appetitising although a little on the small side for me. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Credit...
