Curry mejin — Restaurant in Tokyo

The place is kinda run down, and the staff kinda just wings it. They don't really speak Japanese but they speak English well. It could use more regular cleaning.

With that said, the food was fantastic and delicious. They know how to make curry!! I ordered the dinner set for 1250. Honestly, they could charge 1500+ for that. The freshly baked pan bread was crispy and awesome!

Their food is spot on. However I would really suggest they put some thought and effort into cleaning up their business and outward appearance image. They could seriously then justify charging more, or probably attract...

RUDE SERVICE BY INDIAN MAN!!!

We came here to get curry for my partner. I had food earlier so I wasn’t hungry, I was about to order a drink. The guy came to our table and furious to us because we only order one main course. He kicked us out and said that Japan is expensive. At that time THERE WAS NO ONE in the restaurant. This explained why! btw once you enter their place, you can smell the strong curry smell that stick on your clothes and hair! The chefs are indian. I doubted the authenticity of their food! NEVER...

This place is fantastic! Open till midnight, prices aren't bad and the curry is delicious. My husband isn't normally a fan of curry but, loved his spicy mutton curry served with rice and nan bread. I had a mild butter chicken curry with rice and nan bread. Service was good and the pictures on the menu will help anyone with little to no Japanese order a great meal. There is a variety of beer as well if you're interested in finding a late drinking spot. I would recommend this...
