Bread and olive oil. Delicious. The olive oil was so flavourful we really enjoyed it as a little starter. Secondly we had a set of tapas. They were great. My favourite was the jalapeños. Beautifully prepared and roasted. This was the favourite dish of the meal except…. The gazpacho was next level. The mild spice to the tomato topped with a crunch of dragon fruit really set this meal out from other things I’d normally get in Tokyo. Bravo. Wonderful flavour. Dish of the night! I’m sad to say the main of the meat was set on a bed of what I would say was not actually mashed potatoes but potato flakes reconstituted. Watery and ruined the dish. I hate to say this was a deal breaker I was so looking forward to this after seeing it land on others tables. We want real potatoes!!!! You redeemed yourself somewhat with whatever this desert is. A mouth full of fruit nuts and whipped something or other. 👏 The spoon is too small though. Give me a honking bigger spoon next time please! All in all great experience. Work on the main meat meal! Will come back in a few months to try again!
