Excelsior Caffé — Restaurant in Tokyo

About 50 seats in the non-smoking area, including some with charging. No official Wi-Fi, though I was able to connect to a troublesome public network with enough effort. The atmosphere is pretty standard for the chain, but the front window actaully has a nice new of a busy street and some large buildings. Comfortable seats are worth note.

Good coffee and a nice cookie, but I'm only going to call it a low four stars on the Wi-Fi annoyance.

東京駅からやや距離があること、国指定重要文化財である『日本橋』が目の前にあるにもかかわらず日本橋三越などの大小様々な商業施設が橋の北側に集中していることから、このカフェの存在は割と見落とされがちのように見受けられます。しかしそれが幸いしてか、休日でも比較的空いており、席の確保すら難しいほど混雑することはほとんどないように思います。 パーティション類はありませんが各テーブル席は程よい距離感で配置されているため、利用者のプライベートスペースを確保しやすい空間設計のように思います。一方で多くの客席構成が1〜2人向けに構成されているため、大人数での利用には向かないでしょう。 給仕されるドリンクや料理の質及び種類は他のエクセルシオールカフェと遜色なく、また混雑した時間帯もあまり多くないためスタッフの接客対応にも余裕が見られ概ね良好だと思います。加熱式タバコ専用の喫煙室がありますが、客席フロアに煙草の匂いが充満していなかったため、しっかりした分煙システムであるように感じました。一方で出入口に段差があるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方はやや利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。

This cafe is somewhat overlooked despite being in front of the nationally designated Important Cultural Property, Nihonbashi, and slightly distant from Tokyo Station. Moreover, most commercial facilities, including Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, are concentrated on the north side of the bridge. However, perhaps because of this, the café tends to be relatively quiet even on weekends, and finding a seat is rarely difficult. Although there are no partitions, tables are arranged with sufficient spacing, providing a comfortable sense of personal space. That said, since most seating is designed for one to two people, it may not be suitable for large groups. The quality and variety of drinks and dishes are consistent with other EXCELSIOR CAFFÉs. Due to the low level of congestion, staff service appears attentive and generally positive. There is a dedicated smoking room for heated tobacco products, and the café floor was free from smoke odors, suggesting a well-functioning smoke separation system. Good place for a quick bite and coffee. Have a great variety of sandwiches. The place is packed during lunch, so recommend first finding a spot before placing the order.
